Born in Croatia, moved to New York City in 1979. Received an Associates Degree in Fashion Design from F.I.T. in NYC and worked as a Fashion Designer and Haute-Couture model for the next 10 years in New York, Italy, France and Tokyo. She speaks fluent Croatian, as well as Italian and French. In 1990 she received a BFA in Film & Television Production from NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
During her studies she wrote and directed several short films. Her film experience has been as a Script Supervisor as well as Cannes Film Festival award-winning short "The Room", directed by Jeff Balsmeyer. She also produced "Evil & Upside Down". Some of the other films she has worked on are "Eerie", Starring Felicity Huffman, directed by Phil Hartman, and Hells Kitchen, starring Angelina Jolie. In 1996 she completed her own 20 minute film "Babushka" which has received several prizes from the International Film Community. In 2001 she founded and directed the Independent Dover Film Festival, in Dover, NJ, 35 miles from New York City. She currently lives in Portland, Oregon with John, an iphone app. developer
